The paintings from the Atmosphere Series are the result of a continuous and meticulous physical exercise which translates into the superposition of thin layers of color graduations or colour fields, meticulously arranged over the paper. When observed from a close distance, one can see the detailed pigmentation of the paper. Seen from afar, the colour vibration appears to the eye as one tries to focus on the mesmerizing surface, creating a subtle after image with blurry edges or what the artist refers to as atmospheres.
